Dawson, Tibetan Seals, p. 10: Black ink seal of the Kashag, …The seal dates from the inception of the Kashag in 1728 during the early stages of the Chinese overlordship under Emperor Yung Ch'eng. The square seal was used as the inner seal on documents. This seal exists in several copies, each slightly different from others, esp. regarding the third column (i.e. comp. to No. 250 (0594e_AA_1_1_51).
