bCa'-yig, preached by Rinpoche to (monks) of bKra-shis chos-gling monastery. The writing's day Tuesday and the star name snar-ma 'phrod-pa are mentioned in the colophon. This monastery was found by Mer-gen mkhan-po lha-ram pa grags-pa thogs-med dpal bzang-po in 1785 A.D (in Mongolian?. this monastery might be the same as bKra-shis phan-bde gling, mentioned in 012 1-4/#/7/4/4). In 1810 A. D. lHa-ram pa Ngag-dbang bstan-dar established a dialectic school and since then the monastery's name seems to have been changed into bsTan-rgyas gling or a separate branch under bKra-shis chos-gling compound was found. This monastery's name resembles one of the four “royal monasteries” Kun-bde gling, bsTan-rgyas gling, Tshe-mchog gling and mTsho-smon gling. See 012 1-4/#/7/4/4. Ibid. 012 1-4/#/7/7/4? |
